Our Story

When Foundation Services of Central Florida, Inc. was founded in 1991, it was not a new company. It was created through the merger of three established Florida construction companies – Hardin Builders owned by Bobby Hardin, Miroda Development owned by Darryl Hampy, and local land developer, Keith Seyler.

The oldest of the three companies, Hardin Builders, owned by Bobby Hardin since 1958, was acclaimed for his great foundations – has been a builder for more than 60 years. The foundation repair requests became so extensive by 1991, that Hardin took on partners Hampy and Seyler, then later Robert Stephenson, creating unparalleled, hands-on experience in new construction contracting and foundation repair business.

We are clearly ahead of all other Florida contractors in both age and experience. Since three successful building contractors merged their businesses almost 30 years ago, we have successfully completed countless new construction, remodel and addition projects, several thousand sinkhole remediations and foundation stabilization and repair projects.

Being a local Construction Manager, Foundation Services has much to offer. We know the market; we know the subcontractors and suppliers and have worked with many of those local to this area for years.

Foundation Services has the benefit of a wealth of construction experience from our owners, managers, estimator, project manager, project coordinator, marketing / business development, office manager and administrative staff. Foundation Services develops an independent work plan for each project that will maximize the effectiveness of the experience and skills of our staff.
